a buildup of pressure even if there was a buildup there needs to be a spark which is why they are asking pg&e if there was estivation in that area before the explosion as well as simply trying to track down of the car drove by or simply put the cigarette in that area. lots to investigate. if they estimated a while ago perhaps the dirt shifted and it caused perhaps gas to seep into the air. they believe this that investigation could take about 12-14 months. they told me it almost feels like a homicide investigation many witnesses to talk to. many pieces to collect still of the clothing fragments that they believe may be scattered throughout the neighborhood. they are asking if you find fragments fragments turn it over to the investigators. his christopher's with ntsb to talk about it.

the latest on developing story the aftermath of the explosion in san bruno. ntsb has boxed up pieces of the pipe that exploded they are shipping it back to washington d.c. for further investigation. state regulators have ordered pg&e to test all the natural gas lines in the wake of this catastrophe. the death toll is four but there for people from that neighborhood missing. most residents have been allowed to return homes. 37 homes were leveled so the people in those homes and the red tag helms will find out if they came go back in. there is the meeting under re right now for residents. back to the ntsb investigation on site they are taking a look at what they can finding out all
